The Scenthound Story
Our founders, Tim and Jessica Vogel, live by these ideals every single day.
They started Scenthound in 2005 as a mobile grooming concept. Along the way, they saw that many dogs — especially the 90% of breeds that don’t require regular haircuts — weren’t getting essential, consistent care. They recognized that a change was needed and decided to create that change; with Scenthound.
Inspired by a vision of revolutionizing the pet care industry and fueled by a passion for business, they moved to a brick-and-mortar location in 2010. Together, they are on a mission to change the way people care for their dogs and promote strong connections between dogs and their humans.
What’s Next?
It’s scientifically proven that dogs help people to thrive and be happy. And, clean, healthy dogs enjoy more attention and affection — that’s good for both dogs and their people. But dogs need consistent care to keep all their parts, from their skin and coat to their ears, nails, and teeth, healthy. (Yes! That spells SCENT.)
So, at Scenthound, we are dedicated to ensuring that dogs stay clean, comfortable, and healthy, which means more love and snuggles to their humans.
