We Go Beyond Grooming
We believe that dogs can — and should — have it all, especially the baths and haircuts that keep them smelling and looking good and the routine care that keeps them healthy. That’s what we do. Our signature service, the B/E/N/T, makes sure we are sending our pups home smelling their best. But it also includes the teeth and ear cleaning and nail trimming that helps them live their healthiest.
Our customers will do anything for their furbabies, that’s why they aren’t just dropping them off at a big box store for a haircut. They know that Scenthound goes the extra mile to make sure all of our pups are getting top of the line care. Because that’s what being Dog First means.
Informing Pup Parents
Education is crucial to maintaining a Dog First mentality. That’s why information and graphics are the most noticeable aspects of any Scenter. We want to pass on our knowledge to our pup parents so they can provide their dogs with the care they need between Scenthound trips.
We also educate pet parents with our Scent Check. After each service, the Scent Tech will evaluate the pup they’ve cared for. Six areas (skin, coat, ears, nails, teeth, glands) will be scored on a scale of five. The Scent Tech will talk through these scores with the pet parent and make suggestions or recommendations if necessary. By discussing the overall wellness with our dog parents, we put Dogs First by making sure everyone who loves them has the necessary information about their overall wellness.
Partnering with Rescue Organizations
Scenthound is made up of dog lovers. And we want to take care of all of the pups in our communities. That’s why our franchisees frequently partner with local animal rescues to help them in their efforts to get pups into their forever homes. One way we do this is by offering a free B/E/N/T service to every new dog parent that adopts from the partner animal shelter. Scenthound is built on the belief that clean, healthy dogs get more snuggles and affection. And isn’t that the best way to start a new life with a loving family? Scenthound definitely thinks so.
