Membership

In this day and age, there is a subscription for everything including human food, dog food, squeaky toys and more. Why not for routine dog care, too? That’s why Scenthound introduced our revolutionary membership model. Pup parents can choose from two membership options to fit their budget and needs: either one Bath Ears Nails Teeth service a month or unlimited B/E/N/Ts every month.

The membership model makes creating a dog care routine easy for our customers. It also helps our team members build strong relationships. When a pup (and their parent) keep coming back, we get to know their personalities, their needs and why Scenthound fits perfectly into their lifestyles.

Scent Check

We aren’t just dog groomers. At Scenthound, we value dog health above all else. That’s why another key component of our proven model is the Scent Check. We evaluate six areas of dog wellness (skin, coat, ears, nails, teeth and glands) on a five-point scale. This allows our customers to get the specifics of what our Scent Techs see during the B/E/N/T service.

And we don’t just evaluate — we also make suggestions and recommendations to pet parents to up their score. Does their pup need to chew more bones? Do light-colored dogs need sunscreen before their next hike? Do they need a trip to the vet? By providing feedback and suggestions, we encourage our customers to think about the holistic health of their dog — not just their hair cuts. Plus, the Scent Check can urge our customers to keep coming back to get important information about their furriest family member.

Location

We know that location matters for every business and we’ve perfected Scenthound’s site selection process. Our Scenters are generally placed in retail parks where our pet parents are likely to be running other errands. We make dog wellness as simple as possible and that means making it a part of our customers’ routines. While their parents wait in line at the post office or are shopping for their niece’s birthday present, Scenthound pups are getting the luxury treatment from our Scent Techs.
